MISSION STATEMENT:
The Madison Misnomer is a campus comedy COLLECTIVE for the University of Wisconsin, Madison. We value CREATIVITY, UNITY, and using POWER WORDS in our mission statement to make us seem LEGITIMATE when we really don't have any IDEA what's going on.
We OPERATE as a student PRODUCED satire news ORGANIZATION, publishing UW-Madison related content on DIVERSE PLATFORMS. No writing EXPERIENCE is necessary to OPERATE with us. We host weekly ‘writers room’ TEAM meetings, where we welcome newcomers and introduce them to how we OPERATE by ENGAGING their PERSPECTIVE to create RELEVANT, IMPACTFUL content.
The Misnomer STRIVES to EMBODY INTEGRATION, PIONEERING, SELF AGGRANDIZEMENT, OPERATE, CENTRALIFICATION, AND FLURPIVITY.
Angry at something we posted, or maybe just at the world in general? Trying to sue us? Please do not. We are a college organization so we have no money to give you, and we will probably all cry if you try and sue us. Satire is a form of free speech and expression protected under the First Amendment. The articles we publish are not real news and all names of people used are fictional and invented by us (besides public figures). Any use of real names is a coincidence and an accident, and anyone taking our articles as truth should not be doing so.
