MADISON, WI- In what city leaders are calling “still going as planned” and “pretty standard” the installation of the new sanitary sewer underneath the 3400 block of East Washington Avenue has entered its 29th day. The sewer replacement, designed to replace the current sanitary sewer underneath E Washington, was proposed by the City of Madison to increase sewer capacity for the new development at 958 Rise Ln. One lane of eastbound traffic has been shut off, causing minor traffic delays. There have been no unscheduled delays and construction work will be wrapped up by November 15th.
