I went to the wrong fat bear week and now I'm stuck in Boystown, Chicago

Ok, so I did some soul searching over the summer. I was kayaking by myself on Mendota because my bum girlfriend Jordan was mad at me for my entrepreneurial mindset. I was Chat GPTing replies to male loneliness epidemic victims on Hinge, and apparently she thinks that's cheating. But my catfishing bought the buzz cut I made her get, so really she should be grateful for my army of sugar daddies.
Anyways, out on the lake, I realized that maybe Madison is too mad for me. I've struggled to make friends, I'm financially in the toilet and I got hit by some frat boy's fugly vespa, so now I can't even play pickleball. I took a big, deep sigh. And that's when a trout jumped in my teeth.
Now, I'm not going to lie, I was off my klonopin because Jordan said it was affecting my libido, but it felt like a sign. I needed to return to nature, to get out of this hippie prison and go back to my roots. I kayaked back to shore as quick as I could, and 3 hours later I was able to do some research. Yup, I needed to be a bear. And the most successful bears in the world were found in Alaska.
Jordan was less than thrilled. We had a date planned that night and she said she wore my favorite outfit of hers, khakis, new balances and a sports jersey. It was hard to say no, but I had to choose myself. I'd heard about this event, Fat Bear Week, and I knew that's where I would learn from the greats.
So I hopped back in my kayak and paddled down to the airport, and asked for a ticket on Alaska Air. The big, bulky man behind the counter asked me where I was headed, and I told him all about fat bear week. That I was trying to become a bear, to be more macho, to connect better with my fellow man. He said he knew what I was talking about, and that he knew just the ride for me to take.
I've never been to Chicago before because I'm so afraid of The Crime. But everywhere I looked, there were bears! On flags, t-shirts, mugs, license plates, you name it, there was a bear. Also, why the hell would Alaska Air fly anywhere besides Alaska? I just thought this was the right place.
After wandering around aimlessly for a while, I ended up locking eyes with the most stunning pair of sapphires I've ever seen. It belonged to another beautifully built man, just like the guy at the airport. I felt butterflies in my stomach, I think because I envied him so much. Well, I told him the gist, that I needed to be a bear, and he was surprisingly receptive.
Hindsight is 20/20, okay? I know NOW that I was not, in fact, at the correct fat bear week, and it was, in fact, an average June in Boystown. But that doesn't mean I didn't learn a lot from Hugo, Jorge, Mark, Gil and Gil's partner. I can now bench 220 and I know a lot about gut nutrition. Overall, the past few months have been really great for my self-esteem and prospects.
But still, I'm not where I need to be. Fat Bear Week is here, and I need to be with the bears who matter the most. Of course, Hugo's upset, doesn't want me to move out, says we can go to the zoo, but I don't believe in zoos and he knows that. But the men on hinge don't get scammed as easily as they did in Madison, so now I'm stuck here!
So this is my official plea, SEND ME MONEY SO I CAN GO BE A BEAR IN FAT BEAR WEEK! I won't pay you back because bears don't know about commerce and trade. Please help make a little boy's dream come true.
