Justin Trudeau Unsure If Aladdin Genie Costume (Will Smith Version) is Appropriate

It has been about a month since Justin Trudeau’s Aladdin controversy surfaced. One could say it’s a whole new world now, but that’s besides the point. Trudeau has apologized profusely for his actions, but is unfortunately starting to get antsy. Halloween is approaching fast, leaving Trudeau in quite a predicament. It’s important to keep in mind when observing the quotations that Trudeau has a Canadian accent.

“So about the incident guys, I’m really sorry about the whole thing that happened with Aladdin. I feel quite terrible about what I did. However, Halloween is coming up soon, so I’d like to talk about that a little. It’s been about twenty years since I’ve dressed up as a character from my favorite movie. It’s time I make things right with an appropriate costume,” said Trudeau.

Trudeau explained that he had recently seen the new live-action Disney film Aladdin and was a huge fan. In Particular, he was a big fan of Will Smith’s portrayal of “the Genie.” Trudeau explained that when he was almost done applying his makeup on, he realized Will Smith was an African American.

“Oh snikes, I don’t know about this one anymore. The difference about this costume is that I’m using blue makeup, but Will Smith also is blue in the film. Oh gosh, what race was Robin Williams? Something about this is just so confusing. I’m not about to get into trouble again,” said Trudeau.

After much thought on the matter, Trudeau decided against his Genie idea. Instead, Trudeau decided to go as an agent from Men in Black, his other favorite Will Smith film.

“No, no, don’t worry about it. I’m going as the Tommy Lee Jones one. Jeez, I guess it’s about time I get back to running a country,” said Trudeau.
