Misnomer to Become Miss No More, Misnomer to Get Married

MADISON, WI – In a shocking reveal to the writers at the Misnomer, the eldritch being who actually writes all the articles at the Misnomer revealed that they are soon to be married. With such a sudden reveal, here are all the important details regarding the future married couple and their wedding plans.

Misnomer’s husband-to-be is a cryptid known as Misterneaumer who owns and runs the very real and legitimate news organization The Madisun Misterneaumer. The pair apparently met through the dating website Satirefor2.gov in 2011, after both failed to find love on Christian Mingle. 

“Our first date was so romantic, Misnomer and I had dinner at Ian’s and then started a Weezer flash mob. It was awesome.” Misternaumer reported to the Misnomer. None of the writers felt comfortable publicly commenting on Weezer, but they agree that Ian’s is pretty good. 

Misternaumer reportedly proposed to Misnomer after the football game against Iowa at one of Madison’s local bars. 

“You know, I was feeling really down because the Badger’s had lost again. Like holy crapola! They kinda suck. Anyways, I was feeling upset and I could tell Misnomer was upset too so I thought, ‘hm, right now would be the perfect time to propose because I don’t think I could get any more disappointed just in case she rejects me,’ so I got down on one knee on that dirty bar floor and proposed.” Luckily for Misterneaumer his plan was a success and the two totally forgot about the football game.

The two are set to get married in a month, but they seem to be running into some issues. Unfortunately the United States doesn’t allow eldritch beings and cryptids to get legally married so the two have to undergo a lot of legal troubles to get their affairs together in order to have the same rights that married people have such as joint bank accounts, the medical power of attorney, and the ability to wear a hat that says “my wife gave me this hat”. Additionally, it is unclear who’s going to walk Misnomer down the aisle as her father, The Onion, has sold out. In order to help with some of the wedding and honeymoon costs the couple plans to livestream their wedding on YouTube and receive money through TTS donations. 

The couple currently have their hearts set on honeymooning on Jupiter’s 95th moon – Europa – however this is contingent on the weather. Hopefully for them, the skies will be clear on that day for the new couple: Misternaumer and Missesnaumer.
